Windows Vista Compatibility

If your disc has 'Vista Compatible' printed on the label under the version number you do not have to download or install HLV Compatibility software.  This download is for older discs printed before Windows Vista was released.

To run our older training CD's on the Windows Vista operating system you will need to install 'HLV COMPATIBILITY'.

To install HVL compatibility:

1. Download the file 'VistaFix.zip' using the link above.
2. Open and locate setup.exe
3. Start the Utility setup file in Administrator Mode (right click the setup.exe and click "Run as administrator").
4. Double click the Setup file and it will install the "HLV" Vista Compatibility Utility. The Installation Program will set up a Desktop Icon for the Utility on your computer desktop.
5. Click the Desktop Icon (HLV Compatibility), and click the "Enable Vista Compatibility" button. You can
   now run the application.  Upon rebooting your computer, you will need to click this Desktop Icon and click the "Enable Vista Compatibility" button again to run the application.
   
   

To install application:

1. Place the CD in the tray and close.
2. The Vista default setting will open the Auto Play dialog. Choose Run autorun.exe to open the installer.  Hint, check the box. Always do this for software and games. The CD will open the application whenever it is put in the drive, after instillation.
3. Use the the buttons to view files. Click the Install button to open the installation wizard.
4. Windows Vista 'User Account Control' will prompt you to allow the installer to run. Click Allow.
5. Follow the application setup steeps to complete the instillation.
